Which alternative fits your priorities?

Wedding Photos QR lets you create an event gallery without paying upfront. Its pricing page lists a paid option to download the complete photo and video collection. The Privacy Policy says wedding gallery content is kept for up to six months after the event, so download the collection before then.

Guests open the event page from its QR code or link in a browser, without installing a guest app or creating an account. Consider it if you mainly need to collect photos and videos, and you are comfortable keeping your own copy after the event. Check the current pricing, Privacy Policy, and Fair Usage Policy before creating your gallery.

Choose Kululu if the reception slideshow is part of the plan

Kululu’s live Photo Wall can show guest uploads on a TV or projector. Guests can contribute photos, videos, or text posts through the browser. Its Help Center describes the QR and link workflow, album, and Photo Wall. Bulk ZIP downloads are available on Plus and Pro, according to its download guide.

Check the upload window separately from the time you can view and download the media. Kululu lists 24 hours, 30 days, and 3 months for uploads across Free, Plus, and Pro; media access is listed as 7 days, 90 days, and 1 year. If you want to collect contributions for months after the wedding, or keep browsing the gallery for longer, select a plan with those periods in mind. The pricing page explains plan differences and shows the current offer.

Choose WedUploader if you want files in your own Google Drive

WedUploader connects to the couple’s Google Drive and transfers guest uploads into the account’s Drive folders. You manage downloads and storage in that Drive. The provider says premium albums do not expire, while available space depends on the connected Google account. See its FAQ for storage and gallery details.

Guests can upload from the album’s QR code or link without a WedUploader account. The couple does need to connect a Google account to set up albums. Premium includes a live shared gallery and slideshow, plus a digital guestbook with captions, messages, and voicemails. WedUploader lists a one-time purchase for premium features across albums; check the current pricing page, and consider whether your Drive has room for the photos and videos.

How to compare the price fairly

Start by deciding how much upload time you need, how long you want the gallery available, and whether you want a bulk download. Add any separate storage costs and compare only the features you expect to use.

Guestpix and WedUploader list one-time purchases, though their included services differ. Wedding Photos QR has free gallery setup and charges for its full-gallery download. Kululu offers a free plan and paid upgrades, with upload limits, media access, and download features tied to the selected plan. Compare the current package page for each service, since prices, currencies, and promotional offers can change.

Questions to ask before choosing

  • Can guests upload from a browser without an app or account?
  • Can guests browse other people’s uploads, or only submit their own?
  • How long can guests upload, and how long can you view or download the files?
  • Can you download original files individually or as one archive?
  • Does the service include a live slideshow or guestbook, and does your plan include those features?
  • Where are the files stored after the event, and who needs to manage that storage?
  • What does the price include, and are there separate download or cloud storage charges?

Try each guest link on a phone before printing a QR code. Confirm the upload steps and access settings, then save a complete copy of the photos and videos somewhere you control.
