Blank wedding stationery card beside a phone and flowers

Write one short invitation beside the code that tells guests what it is for and what to do: "Share your wedding photos with us. Scan to upload." Add a thank-you if you have room. Guests should understand the sign before they point their camera at the code.

Leave a note, then leave us a photo. Scan to share a favorite moment from today.

Take us behind the scenes. Scan to share your photos or a short video from the day.

Only invite guests to share video if the gallery you chose accepts it. The same goes for any other promise on the sign: check that the upload page supports it first.

What should the sign tell guests?

Most signs need two things: what guests can share and how to get there. Put the action close to the QR code. For example, "Scan to share your photos" is clearer than a line that only says "Our wedding memories."

If guests may not know what happens after scanning, add one practical detail. You could say "Scan to open our photo gallery" or "Scan, then choose photos to upload," as long as those instructions match the page guests will see.

You can add a thank-you or a personal sentence, but keep it secondary. A guest glancing at the card should be able to find the action quickly.

How to make the QR sign easy to use

Print a clear code with open space around it. Keep text and decoration from touching the code.

Use readable text with enough contrast for the venue’s lighting. Scan a printed copy with a phone from the distance a guest will stand, then check that it opens the intended gallery.

If scanning opens a page where guests choose photos, say so in a few words. A short, readable web address can help someone whose camera will not scan the code.

Try the guest flow on a phone before sending the sign to print. Wedding Photos QR’s product overview explains how guests reach the gallery.
