Wedding Photos QR and Kululu both let guests reach a wedding photo collection from a QR code or link, without installing an app. Wedding Photos QR focuses on collecting photos and videos in a private gallery, with a paid download option after the wedding. Kululu adds a live Photo Wall and guestbook messages, and offers Free, Plus, and Pro plans with different upload limits and access periods. The better fit depends on whether you want a straightforward collection or more event features.

How the guest upload flow compares

With either service, couples can share a QR code or web link so guests can open the upload experience on a phone. Wedding Photos QR says guests can add photos and videos in their browser without creating an account or installing an app. Kululu also says guests can upload from a link or QR code without an app or registration. Test the guest flow on a phone before printing signs, especially if you want guests to contribute videos.

Kululu's event album can also accept text posts and captions. Its digital guestbook supports wishes as text, photos, or recorded video messages. Wedding Photos QR's published product information describes photo and video uploads; it does not list guestbook messages as a feature.

Wedding Photos QR describes its collection as a private gallery for the couple and their guests. Guests open an event-specific upload page from the QR code or invite link. The link does not check whether someone is on an invited-guest list, so anyone who receives it may be able to open that page. The available product information does not establish that every guest can browse all uploads, so check the guest view before promising guests what they will be able to see.

Kululu describes its album as private and says the host shares access with the people they choose. Its pricing FAQ says guests can use the digital album link to upload photos or view the existing ones. If guest visibility is important to you, test both the upload link and album view and read each service's current privacy information.

Live display and event features

Kululu includes a live Photo Wall that updates as photos, videos, and text posts arrive. The service says the Photo Wall opens from a web link on a screen or projector. This can suit a reception where you want contributions to appear during the event. Kululu also offers album customization and captions.

Wedding Photos QR's current product pages describe a private gallery for collecting and revisiting guest photos and videos. They do not list a live slideshow or digital guestbook. Couples who want those features should compare Kululu's current plan details and test the display setup at their venue.

Downloads, upload limits, and time windows

Wedding Photos QR lists unlimited photo and video uploads, unlimited guests, original-quality uploads, and one-click download of the full collection for $49. Its pricing page says payment is due after the wedding only if you want to download the files. The privacy policy says gallery content is retained for up to six months after the wedding date, subject to earlier deletion and the policy's stated exceptions. Download the collection before the retention period ends.

Kululu's official help pages give these current limits and availability periods:

Kululu planUpload limitTime guests can uploadTime photos and videos remain accessible
Free100 uploads24 hours7 days
Plus500 uploads30 days90 days
ProUnlimited uploads3 months1 year

Kululu counts each photo or video as one upload. Its help center says individual files and full ZIP downloads are available while media is accessible. These plan windows matter if you expect late uploads or want more time to download the collection. Confirm the limits in Kululu's plan chooser before buying, since plan details can change.

Pricing compared

Wedding Photos QR lists a $49 download price. You can set up the collection for free and decide after the wedding whether to pay to download all photos and videos.

Kululu starts events on its Free plan and sells Plus and Pro upgrades for individual events. The official pricing page currently displays a limited-time 50% discount banner, but the amounts appear in its interactive plan chooser. Check the total shown for your event and location before comparing it with Wedding Photos QR's $49 price. The plan you need may depend on upload volume, upload duration, media access, and moderation features.

Which service might fit your wedding?

Wedding Photos QR may fit if you want a QR-based guest flow, a private collection for photos and videos, and a single stated price for downloading the full gallery after the wedding. Its six-month retention period gives you time to retrieve the files, but you should keep your own backup after downloading.

Kululu may fit if you want a live display during the reception, captions, or a digital guestbook with written and video wishes. Its Free plan can be useful for trying the flow, while Plus and Pro allow more uploads and longer upload and access periods. Choose after checking the current plan details against your guest count and expected photo volume.

Before choosing, try each guest link on a phone that is not signed in to the organizer account. Check upload steps, who can view contributions, whether guests can add videos, how long uploads stay open, and the cost and deadline for downloading.
