Wedding guests gathered around a phone to view shared celebration photos

Choose a wedding guest photo-sharing platform by checking how guests upload, whether you want a live display or guestbook, where the original files are stored, and how long you have to download them. Wedding Photos QR, Guestpix, Kululu, and WedUploader all provide a QR code or link for contributions, but their storage arrangements and event features differ. Try the guest flow on a phone and compare the terms for your location before paying.

Which platform may fit your plans?

Wedding Photos QR for a focused photo collection

Wedding Photos QR may suit couples who want a browser-based upload page for guest photos and videos, then plan to download the gallery after the wedding. Creating a gallery is free, and the published download price is $49 USD. Its privacy policy says event content is kept for up to six months after the wedding date, so add a reminder to download before that period ends. The fair usage policy covers wedding galleries rather than general file storage.

Guestpix for a reception display and guestbook

Guestpix may fit if you expect to use the live slideshow, review uploads with moderation, or collect written and video guestbook messages. Its packages include these features, while upload and hosting periods vary by package. The wedding pricing page lists current package terms and lets you switch currency. Check the package dates against any pre-wedding events and the time you need to download the gallery.

Kululu for a live Photo Wall

Kululu may suit a couple who wants uploads to appear on a reception screen, alongside a digital album and captions or messages. The plan windows range from 24 hours to 3 months for uploads and 7 days to 1 year for media access. Its help center lists the access periods, and the pricing page shows the current price for your event.

WedUploader for files in your own Google Drive

WedUploader may be a fit if keeping the uploaded files in a Google Drive account you control is a priority. Its premium features include a shared gallery, QR links, a slideshow, guestbook options, and albums that it says do not expire. You connect your Drive account, so the available storage depends on that account. Review the pricing page and check whether your Drive has room for the photos and videos you expect.

What to check before choosing

Start with the guest steps. Scan the code from a second phone, open the link without being signed in as the organizer, and try a photo upload. If you want video contributions, test a video too. This catches surprises before a code goes on invitations or reception signs.

Then check who can view the gallery and whether the link can be forwarded. “Private” can mean access is limited to people with a link, or that the host can set additional controls. Read the provider’s current access guidance and try the guest view yourself.

Finally, compare the full timeline and retrieval terms: when uploads open and close, how long files remain available, what a download includes, and whether storage depends on a third-party account. If guests may send pictures after the wedding, choose an upload window that covers that delay. After downloading, keep a second copy somewhere you control.

Pick the features you expect to use. A collection-and-download flow may be enough if your priority is gathering files. A live display or guestbook gives you ways to use uploads during the celebration. A Google Drive destination gives you direct control over your cloud storage, within that account’s storage limit. Choose the provider whose current terms fit those needs.
